Tim the Optimist

Live from the Bay Area, we have OPTIMIST, the Oakland, California native. Since 1998 he has been writing, painting and photographing. Given the name Tim by friends, that’s not his real name, so don’t get it twisted. His nickname Tim quickly morphed into Optimist, and now you know how he got his name. But to see his work is to see the real talent and unique vision of this artist. The stickers I have collected from Optimist over the years are great, but they are small in comparison to the breadth of work, volume of output, and sheer scale of recent murals from Tim. We are fans and look forward to see what’s next.
