Tavar Zawacki

Tavar Zawacki is an artist also known as 'ABOVE' who is living and working in Berlin, Germany, and Bali, Indonesia currently. His work was plastered all over New York city though and not just stickers, but huge rollers seen on the top story of a tall building in a prime spot that was previously untouched. For twenty years Tavar Zawacki created and signed all of his artworks with his street artist pseudonym, 'ABOVE'. Now he says that is a thing of the past and currently practices as an American abstract artist and seems to focus on studio work and perhaps no more street work. We do love seeing the stickers around as there were so many posted that many survive and continue to ride.
